The Shankula Family Nov. 12 2009

November 2009 on the 12th day Daniel James Shankula married Lelia Kristine Bradbury in the St. George Temple for all time and eternity. They also got Jennie Sue Cox, the daughter of Lelia, was sealed to them as a family.

Friends

Looking back on friends of old and new a like. I was just in Phoenix and got to see some friends from school and church. I also got to meet some new friends as well. Even my sisters friends have become like big sister to me. YES I am talking about you, Brynn and Katie. Even to today looking back, friends may come and go but when you see them again or a picture of you two together the memories of the past come flooding back of the good times spent together. Sometimes wishing you could have kept a better way of keeping in touch with those friends, that one best friend, group pf people or that one special friend. One pictures comes to mind of me and a friend, who's brothers I know very well. it was a 8th grade promotion to high school. Friends are priceless. No one can put a price on them or the memories you have together. Life changes everyday and do friends. So always keep in touch with the ones you can the best way you know possible because you will never know when, where or how long they will be around for.

Time in Phoenix

My time spent in Phoenix seemed long some days and short the other days. All in all the time was spent great. I got to spend the time with Stephanie and Steven Hamberlin and the "kids". Referring to Dexter the dog, Sophie and Dora the want to be the Explorer, the two cats. I also spent time with my mom. Scared a sister missionary at the Mesa Temple, that was fun. I did not me to but fun to see her again. I got to catch up with some friends. One is having a baby girl, their first, one is in engaged and the brother in married, less the two months into it. Visited an old church ward and seen that it has changed a lot but some of the families were still there and some have moved away, not the far just through the block. All in all time spent in Phoenix was great.

Collective Soul!

I got to see Collective Soul! The concert was in Salt Lake at Salt Air. I got to meet them and get there autograph. I still have the ticket that they signed.

Snow in the desert.

Who ever told you that is does not snow in the desert lied because it does! The 5 yrs that I have been in st George, Ut it has snowed twice. Just this last year they had a snow day for the schools, which never happens there. Even Las Vegas had so much snow that they close The Strip and the airport for a few hours.
